anyone bought an ebay case?

just wondering if anybody bought one of those silicon cases from hong kong, lol. it was 5 bucks shipped to hawaii so i thought i'd give it a try. its like $0.95 for the case and $3.95 for shipping, lol.

keep in mind, i do expect it not to fit (or for something to be wrong with it), i just bought it cuz "what the hell, its only 5 bucks shipped."

I bought two. One from Hong Kong, one from New York. They both took about a week to arrive but as far as quality goes both were very good. I was expecting a bad fit but it fit perfectly. So either way you should be fine, just make sure you look at the picture they offer because some of them look oversized (way too much space near top of screen).

I did see the exact same case at a local 3rd party iPod accessory kiosk at the mall. They charged $20 but I paid about $7 with shipping from eBay.

thats good to know, thanks for the input! the auction i won was for a blue case which also comes with a screen protector and neckstrap. the case covers the click wheel so i expect to cut that out even though they say it should still work fine. other than that, if it even fits it should be a great deal since i only paid $4.90.

man, I was JUST about to start a thread regarding this because I was about to buy from the same guy.

My question was whether the screen protectors were actually good, did they cause any kind of reduction in contrast or brightness?

I bought two silicone cases off eBay. The quality is basically what you pay for. Its really bad one of them ripped when i tried to put it on and the other well the click wheel doesn't respond at all. Oh well it was only 6 bucks.

i recieved it and damn, its pretty much perfect. theres nothing bad i can say about it. it fits perfectly, and even comes with a screen protector. the click wheel also works perfectly even though the silicone covers it (the silicone is thinner where the click wheel is). i highly recommend this if you are looking for a silicone case.

i bought the silicone (blue) case that comes with the screen protector and lanyard. i still don't know how they charge only 95 cents, lol.

What's the screen protector like? Is it a sticky one that you can't remove and use again or is it a hard one?
