I have been researching a nice case that will guarantee no scratches on the back of my touch after I take it out of the box and protect it. ShieldZone claims that the IS is residue free after removal, but what they don't say that it is limited only to a short usage period.
I have looked on Google for reviews on Invisible Shield on the older gen iPods and Blackberries, etc. I have discovered that people who use the IS for months, and decide to take it off because they either want to get a new case, replace with an updated model of the IS, etc. it leaves sticky residue and gunk on their screens that cannot be easily removed with cleaner.
I would like to know from people who use the IS shield if they could attempt to remove the IS after a few weeks, or maybe a month or so after applying, and say if they have any sort of residue or noticible gunk. I would hate it if my screen protector protected my unit, but damaged it with gunk and sticky residue on the back since I intend to get only back protection for it.
