The idea keeps going through my mind..over and OVER and OvEr and oVeR again. I'm really happy with my week 38 and there isn't one thing wrong with it. BUT, I have been having the urges to return it within it's 14 day policy and then just get the iPhone here in like a couple weeks. Being that the iPhone now is only gonna be around 300 it's still much cheaper than what I paid for the iPod touch. But I want to keep it at the same time and see what all Apple is gonna release in up to come firmwares. I think the one thing that bugs me is the calendar, battery life, and the fact that I can't just get on the internet whenever I please... I don't think the iPod touch will ever amount to all the same stuff the iPhone can do (obviously) which means it will generally be a better. It having 8 more gigs of space is a big differnce (it matters when you have 2K+ songs). I have been wanting a new phone for a little bit now and nothing could be better than getting the iPhone. Someone help me in my decision lol.

If you feel like you can afford iPhone and that you can live with the lower capacity, switching is a no brainer. Touch is nothing but an iPhone with a big chunk of the software and hardware ripped out. Make the switch. You'll be glad you did.

the only reason I didn't get an iPhone was because I'm stuck with verizon for the next 1+ year. If you done mind switching to Cingular, then go for it

There so many post asking questions like this one. Like I always, if you have enough money for the iPhone and the plan then get the iPhone.

If you can live with 8gbs I'd say definitely iPhone.
