Looking Straight At Screen = Not Good Picture

I have a week 39 iPod touch and have to tilt the top away from me and the bottom towards me to get a good picture on the screen.

When I look at the screen straight on, the screen appears as if I'm looking at it from an angle. Is this how it's supposed to be?

Thanks. This is driving me nuts. I'm probably going to visit the Apple store later tonight and compare mine to a iPhone.

No, this is not how it is supposed to be, it seems you have a defective screen. I would bring it to the apple store asap.
