This Movie Could Not Be Played error...

Hi, I picked up my new IPT last night.. copied a few tunes and videos onto it (All purchased off the iTunes store from my PC)..

The music videos were playing fine on the ipod touch last night.. but this morning when i come to play them.. i am getting the error 'This Movie Could Not Be Played'
Does anyone know why this is happening? The music videos were purchased from the itunes store and were working fine last night??

Did you already try 2 things :
1) To stop completely your IPT (holding down the top button), then restart and try again to play your files
2) To sync your IPT with iTunes again. Yesterday I noticed that when doing this iTunes said it found crash/debug files on my IPT and asked to send them to Apple (although I had not noticed any crash)

Try deleting those videos and putting them back on. If that does not work ou may want to try restoring it.

I don't know if it will work with your IPT but what I've done just now works well on my iPhone.

This morning after received "This Movie Could Not Be Played" when i try to play movies thru iPod and MxTube .. all I just did is ..

Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings .. :)

And after that everything run smooth again .. no more error.

hi info4iphone. tnx for that solution. it worked on my iphone 1.1.4! just when i was about to restore again my iphone...

OMG! U R A LIFESAVER!!!! im going on a trip for 8 hrs. on a bus and id die w/o my videos on my ipod. yesterday everything was working fine but then this morning all of a sudden it didnt work [incert dramatic gasp] and i thought i was doomed cuz all the other forums say tht this issuse deals with the conversion settings and stuff...just like tech.junkie i registered just to say thanks.
