Hi all,

I have just joined Audible and am listening to my 1st ever audio book. I am 4 hours into Stephen King's Bag of Bones and I'm thrilled with the experience!

One time so far I have suffered the dreaded "accidental rewind button brush" and had to find my place in the book... this was not good and will only get worse the further along in the book I get! At this point I am scared to sync my iPod - will the iPod pick up on the fact that iTunes is right at the beginning of the book and the iPod is nearer the middle? I auto sync and I fear that I'll start to play my book and be at the beginning again. Also, I need to charge very soon, will this have any effect on my place in the book?

Thanks

Sync away! When you snyc, it will sync both ways to whichever was the last spot you listened to, whether it be in iTunes or on the iPod.

I never listen on iTunes, but I snyc my iPod every other day with new music, and it doesn't affect the saved playback spot on the iPod, even if I have four or five books at one time.

Tips on the accidental RW issue.

1) use Hold button
2) One of the rubber cases is a must. Like iSkin exo2 or DLO Jam Jacket are two I have used. Several others out there.

Great, thanks! I'm already in the habit of using the hold button

I do need to get a case though. I have the DLO case and it's OK but I think I'd like a rubber case better. I actually mostly use the case that came with it.
