target.com shipments.........apple coupon codes

For people who ordered on target.com how long did you have to wait. Planning on ordering this week. And does apple.com have coupon codes so I heard...........?

Apple rarely has any type of sales or coupon codes for new products. You can normally pick up refurbished iPods at a good deal but that is about it. I do have a question though: why are you ordering it off of target.com and not directly from Apple? The only reason I can think of is that target.com would have a shorter waiting time. You could also get free laser engraving from Apple.

You can actually get a total of 14.4% off. First register with fatwallet.com. Search for Target and click the link from their site to go to Target's site. Fatwallet will give you 4.4% back after 90 days. On the Target site, enter the coupon code for 10% off.

I ordered mine a week ago and it has yet to ship. I hope it ships soon.

My Target ordered iPod was finally delivered yesterday. It was a week 38 but it shipped in the older box style.

While this doesn't matter to me personally I was worried about potential resale problems what with all the 'Tweens going on and on about 'Macy Gray iPods' being the 'good ones'. I already had a week 38 from Best Buy (which they price matched Target to at $359 + tax) and the Target one Shipped before I could cancel it.

When I did the return the cashier didn't even look at the ipod (which was new in the box). She scanned some stuff and handed me a slip with my refund on it. The weird thing is that apparently she refunded me full $399 + tax price on the unit instead of refunding me the $359 I actually paid for it. Since she was in a ####y mood I decided not to argue with her. :)

So apparently my 16GB touch will end up costing me about $338.

I ordered from Target, it's telling me that it won't ship until the end of October at earliest. I went that way because of the 10% coupon. While I'm anxious to get it, I figure the delay time may be enough time for problems to be fixed before I get mine.
