I had never cared about album artwork before I got the Touch, but coverflow looks really nice so I decided to get the artwork. I tried using the Get Album Artwork option from iTunes, but most of my music isn't available that way. I went online and manually put in all the artwork to the songs, but realized that I had put the artwork into the "Music" section of my Touch, not the Music section of iTunes. The artwork updated on the Touch but not my computer. Is there any way to transfer this over easily? I was planning on exchanging the Touch to get one with a good screen and I don't want to go through this 4 hour process again. If it matters, I'm on manual sync because I have way more music than fits on the Touch. Thanks.

Theres a program called iTunes Art Importer (I think) that searches Amazon for album pictures and automatically imports it to the iPod so its fast.

there is a way to do it via iTunes.
Got to your Library - Music
then on the right hand side you'll see the list of all your albums and songs. If you right-click on the song title, you'll get a menu. Click on 'Get Info'. The last tab is 'artwork'. Thats there you can get put any pic from your PC.
the only downside is you have to do it song by song.. i am sure there is a way to do it for entire album, but i havent worked it out yet.
Enjoy your touch! ;)

Simple. sort the songs by album, then select all the songs in that album right click and click on get info then go to the tab artwork....I always did that for every single album....before I used to do it song by song as well...till I tried to just select all of the songs and do it and it worked! :D

I know how to do the artwork the problem was that updated that artwork actually on the iPod music folder instead of the iTunes music folder so that the hours of changes I did only show up on the ipod. Most of my music isn't on Amazon or iTunes.

great props to that guy who created Itunes Artwork Importer. It's amazing, and by far the easiest way to do mass imports of art work.

There's a box on the right for artwork, right above the Rating box.
