I'm not sure about what week number they'll be, but I should be getting my amazon touch on wednesday and I'll post the serial number.

I was thinking of getting a touch from amazon but when I saw the 1-2 months, I started looking at different places. CircutCity says it will only take three days.

I preordered the touch on September 13th on amazon and today the status switched from "shipping soon" to "preparing for shipment." It's expected to arrive Oct. 3rd. Usually amazon is pretty accurate with its shipping dates.

My 16gb touch just shipped from amazon, estimated to arrive on the 3rd, so I'm happy to report that amazon is now shipping touches :)

I placed my order with Amazon on Sept 5 and I still show a shipping estimate of Oct 4. I selected the free shipping. Those that show their Ipod Touch shipped, what shipping did you get?

I have amazon prime, so I get 2 day shipping on everything. Fedex shows an estimated delivery of Oct. 3.

Ok, I just get my touch from fedex today. It's a week 38 and no problems so far (haven't really tested the screen that much though.)

...and my week 38 touch is showing the typical negative black defect :( It already came with 1.1.1 firmware, so I'm trying a full restore to see what will happen.
