I just got my Ipod touch last night. I also picked up a copy of Tune Tools for Ipod Multimedia Edition. I am wanting to be able to transfer all my files from my old Ipod to the new touch without having to download them to the computer. However, I must be able to have it show up in "My Computer" in order to do so. My old Ipod video shows up perfect and works fine with the program. Now my touch wants to make things complicated. I have tried apples website and it sounds like they made the touch do this on purpose. Do you guys have any ideas that would make this work? Even if I downloaded the songs to my computer, ITunes only downloads the purchased items to the computer, leaving 300 of my tracks behind? Any Ideas?? Thanks, Jeff:(

The Touch does not have disc mode, meaning many (if not all) of these old methods won't work.

My suggestion would be to transfer the songs from your old iPod to the computer and import them in iTunes, then sync witht the touch.
