Hi folks,
I finally upgraded to an iPod touch last week from my dinosaur of a 3G iPod - I'm having a good time of the touch so far (and my screen seems to be working fine, which is a major plus.)
The thing that's NOT so good is the fact that Disk Access is disabled!
Any time I wanted to pull my music off my old 3G back to my computer, I pulled them out of the hidden folders with disk access. So obviously, that's not going to work anymore.
Has anyone successfully tested the programs out there for music retrieval with the touch? I have not yet seen any programs out there touting touch compatibility yet and I'd prefer not to do the trial and error myself if someone else already has results. I'm on a Windows XP machine - and I prefer freeware, but if something out there works great but does cost, I'm all for it, so long as I can get my music back.
And on that note, any word on if the touch will ever be able to be used as a disk?
