Shure headphone adapter - where is it available?

I can't find this adapter anywhere - I've checked multiple Apple Stores in southern california and can't find it online anywhere but the Apple Store. Either the salespeople on the phone don't know what I'm describing, I can't see it on the shelves, or it's just not around. Apple lists 2-3 months for delivery online - is that accurate?

I see multiple posts here and on the online Apple Store saying this thing is available in Apple Stores. Can anyone list where they've found it?

Read the comments on Apples website and people said they got it in a week. I just ordered a new set of Shure headphones from the Apple store and it said 3-4 weeks. They shipped within 1 week.

Thanks - based on your suggestion, I ordered the adapter from Apple's online store. The ship date is December 19. If I'm surprised by a quick delivery, I'll post it here.

In the meantime, if anyone finds it in stock somewhere, post it here so I can pick it up and cancel the standing order.
