View Full Version : Any decent case with belt loop (not clip)?

I've got the iSkin Exo2 and I like it a lot but it occassionally will unclip from my belt. I've started using the handstrap that came with it as a security belt by putting my belt through the strap so if the iPod falls from my belt the handstrap will keep it hanging off my belt instead of crashing to the ground.

What I've been looking for now is a different case that has a belt loop instead of a belt clip. This would be a closed loop that a belt is inserting through. There would be NO WAY the case would come off the belt using one of these.

Ideally, I'd want the case to hold the iPod horizontally instead of vertically as this makes it easier to sit with it attached. Since the case would not be easily removable I'd want the iPod to be able to be relatively easy to remove from the case. I'm thinking something more like a holster for a cell phone.

Anyone know of a case such as this?

If you want a horizontal case looking into the contour showcase.

The Sporsuit from Marware has a belt look built in but the case will be vertical.

The Marware cases look good. The leather swivel clip looks good to me. However, it seems they only have cases for the 1G and 2G iPods. I have a 3G.

I take that back. They DO have 3G cases. I'm not sure why I didn't find them the first time I looked. I went ahead and ordered one. I got the 3G SportSuite Sleeve. It has straps to loop a belt thru which actually hold it horizontally (like I want). I also picked up the leather swivel kit as it also attaches completely around a belt.
