Judging from what I've been seeing, it appears that the later the week, the better the build. Does this mean that if we wait a week, Week 39's will be out with even better performance than week 38's? Will there be week 40, 41?

Apparently the week 38s were the way they were supposed to be. There's nothing else to fix other than audio/screen issues.

Yeah, but I mean, I wanna know if there is a week 39 or something that comes out next week too that may perform even better than the Week 38s, and maybe a week after, Week 40 comes out or something. I never knew Apple classified devices by weeks.

the week of production date is a normal thing to have as part of a serial number. it helps to identify and segregate a bad batch or problem.

So much for the Archos...
You spent a week complaining about a device you didn't own and how you were going to get an Archos because it can do so much more and now you're bragging about buying the "best model" of an iPod?

On the Week 39's, the actors will come out of the touch and dance in your living room. Unfortunatly if they're wearing black it will show in negatives. You will have to wait for week 40 for that fix.
