i ordered my ipod touch a last week from amazon under the belief that no retailer would get the ipod touch until the 28th. know everybody from costco to best buy has one and im stuck with one getting deliver oct. 11 - oct. 17. Is there anything i can do or do i just have to wait. thanks :o

You won't get a week 38 (fixed) iPod from Best Buy, Apple stores or Costco right now.

Seriously, give it another week or two for them to start to catch up with demand, most orders should start going out by then.

But he probably would be able to by October 11th-17th. Which is when his Amazon order it to be delivered.
