Why not use heatware (www.heatware.com)? It's an independant evaluation service that many trading forums recomend. If you trade on any site like anandtech, techimo, ars technica, amdmb, 2cpu, etc., you will see that everybody uses hehatware.

It can't hurt to use both.

From the looks of it though, the person has to be registered on the site to be evaluated. There's a good chance that many people here aren't/wont register.

It's very easy to register and it's free to use. There's really no reason not to do it. I've been using it for a while now and you can see my evals here (http://www.heatware.com/eval.php?id=14828).

bull Sh*t :) thats not true at all. You just wouldnt sell to me because i stated in a previous thread that you only wanted to buy people ipods to sell on, and not for personal use, which is clearly true.

Dont get me wrong, I'm sure if you buy an ipod from mac trader boy it will arrive in the condition stated. I just wouldn't like to sell one to him thinking it was for his personal use and see it being sold a couple of weeks later for a profit.

I do use heatware and have a perfect rating there. Unfortunately not many people know about it and alot of the newbies would never hear about it until it was to late. Besides, ratings services only allow you to make comment after you have had a good or bad experience.

If we had one here, people could find out about a bad iPodLounge member before they had to deal with him.
