Apple earphones!

I really like these Apple earphones that came with the classic. I know alot of people have there own headphones they bought. I'm not a sound freak, I've never bought another pair of earphones, i just use the ones that come with whatever i buy. The shape of them fits perfectly in my ears, the old ones, and my zune one are to big, often slipped out, but it seems they made them alittle smaller. Hmm idk, i just wanted to give apple props with making the earbuds a little smaller. Anyone else think similarly?, what do you think of them? :cool:

I don't like them, too distorted on harder rock..you can pick up a pair 100x better for the same or much cheaper price.

Koss KSC-75s or KCS-75s for instance are the clip on type and they are WAY better than the stockies. They only run you $25.

The apple ear buds are among the best I've heard for pack-ins, but they pale against even the $10 philips ear-buds I got at wal-mart for workouts.

I agree with this... for pack-ins they are near the top - they are very comfortable good build quality and decent sound quality.

However, I would not pay the £19 UK for them if I needed to replace my earphones as you can get better aternatives for around the same price...

You must be mental if you think the White stockies are any good, they sound awful , muddy bass that invades the mids, treble that attracts dogs, honestly cough up £15 for KSC75s and hear a decent set of budget phones.
If you dont like clip ons , try some CX300s or JVC Marshmallows (great with the rubber tips from EX71s).
I reckon most people either wear them because they show they have an ipod or they have no idea what an Ipod is capable of sounding like.

...Yeah, that or they arent particularly bothered about excellent sound and they opened the box saw a set of earphones and plugged them into the iPod...

I have used the stock buds and sometimes Sennheiser PX100's (though I find them too large) for a few months while I decide which ear phones I want to invest in...
