I've looked everywhere in this forum about the jam jacket, and it seems as if half of the jam jacket owners love it, and the other half absolutely hates em. I got one recently, and I was wondering if I should keep it or return it.
Im really confused, cause some of you say that it scratches up your ipod, while others say its really protective.
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

theres no way in hell that a jam jacket or any other silicon based case would scratch an ipod. Its only the grit that gets trapped between the pod and the case that would lead to scratching and surely thats not the fault of the case.
Excellent! I love the feel of it and it looks wonderful on the iPod. Plus, you can use the iTrip or the Voice Recorder because the top is open. I am very happy with mine. Also, I have no scratches at all.
What I've heard is that the Jam Jacket doesn't fit as tightly as some other cases, so grit and dirt and crumbs can get trapped inside and scratch your iPod.
I've had no problems with it at all and no scratches. I keep the iPod in my purse and it's not a particularly neat/dirt-free environment. ;-) If it were easy for crumbs and grit and dirt to get inside the Jam Jacket, I would surely have some scratches by now.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll probably keep my since it seems to fit my ipod pretty tight and everything.
