new nano...no video

just bought the new 8g nano for my daughter...she downloaded a tv show from itunes last night, it's in the library...but will not transfer to the ipod...try dragging and it has the little circle with slash through so it won't go anywhere except libr. I tried authorizing it, still wont go. am I doing something wrong...thanks.

I might be wrong but i dont think you can drag the new video onto the ipod unless the auto sync feature is switched off...so try one of these.

Keep the settings as they are and just hit 'sync'

or

Turn auto sync off and then try dragging it onto the ipod

i was just browsing the ipod nano 3G online manual on the apple site, just checking over a

few things before i purchase one in the week (payday!) and i was looking at what the

advice for adding video to itunes & ipod was and it seems that you might have to right click

on the video file and click "convert for ipod" before you can transfer it..

it can take a while depending on your computer and the video length etc. but thought

this might help

Have you watched the episode in iTunes ? if so it wont sync due to default settings... to correct this please do the following:

Try this:

-Plug in iPod open iTunes > click on iPod to get main iPod screen
-Goto tab that says 'TV Shows'
-Choose 'Sync all'
-Click Apply....
