My Story

*grabs drums*
So I went to the Apple Store today
Strolled through the entrance
Weaving through the fray

I shoved my way over to a display
And lucky me! They had iPod touch's today
All the customers gawked and looked
And everyone looked like they had theirs booked

I got to test one out, you know, give it a spin
My eyes glimmered, this iPod was utter win.

I asked the clerk if they had any more
She nodded and smiled
And said "In the back of the store"

So I turned to my parental, smiling with glee
I was so sure I was going to get it, yay me!

*snaps fingers*

Suddenly all my anticipation fell through
She frowned and said "Not right now, not so soon"
With a defeated look I implored her to explain
Trying to swallow the shock of pain

"I promised you a touch on the 28th
You could only have it after school was done
My salary this month is coming in late
So no iPod, not today, hun"

Life is cruel :(

Hey man, get a job. That's what I did, and I bought myself a 30GB black iPod two months back and a iPhone 9 days ago, both with my hard earned money, and I can get myself some free counseling if I wanted to do so ;) As well as free medical if I injure myself selling someone something :D

It's a good feeling really owning you're stuff....believe me.

Yeah, go get a job. For the heck of it, I just applied for one, got it, worked six 8 hours shifts, for one week, then quit.

Crikey. I'm in my 30's make six figures, sold $300 worth of stuff to buy the touch and still debated it.
