google maps horrible on TOUCH

Iphone is much better. It has long load times, sometimes only half the screen loads, its really hard.

are you trolling or is there a legitimate way to get google maps on the Ipod Touch?

um, I didnt think that was something we could not do ...

go to google, zoom, click on maps, zoom, click on your town, and THERE COME THE MAPS.

Guess what, you can even click satellite view, and see real images like on google earth.

also, let me add that I restarted the browser, adn it worked perfectly. I put in directions and everything, and it came up with map on right, and turns on left. great.

You can go to maps.google.com.. Which I think is what he's talking about.. and yes.. It's kind of a pain in the ### to use with Safari..

I don't really see why it should be any different. Every video I've seen shows the iPodT to be slightly faster even.

yes, its ok. If it gets caught or slows up, just have to close the page and restart. then its ok.

Some sites actually load faster on the touch than iPhone. Google maps is just one site.
