i thought these things were available for purchase on the 28th yet it seems alot of people on this forum have one.. could i walk into my local best buy and get one right now??

Some stores have them, others don't.
You might want to call ahead to check whatever store you want to go to.

I read somewhere that all best buys should have them this weekend, monday at the latest. Apparently Best Buy is apples new best friend.

Jobs did say in the keynote that Apple was the 2nd best selling music company second to only Best Buy. I guess he wants to keep good relations with them by doing this.

I thought this was very interesting... I went to the mall today, and the apple store did not have the touch, but best buy did... you'd think the apple store would have it first... lol

they might have sold out since ppl go to apple store FIRST since they get them :)
