eclipxe, having seen the photos in your other thread, I'm telling you now this iPod is exhibiting the same problems with blacks as others are. Just because you like it doesn't mean it's not got the problem! Sorry.

Maybe I just have really bad eyes, but I don't see the same thing? I guess it's good for me, because I'm trying very hard to see the same thing that the other posters have shown on thier screen - even putting the touch side by side with a 6g ipod and watching the same video...I don't see it?

That being said - if I angle the touch in such a way that I'm also looking at the side of the device (in landscape mode), I can definitely see negative blacks (and other colors), however this is the same effect other LCDs have when viewing from extreme angles. When viewed straight-on, or when sitting in the stand, it is flawless (to me??)

I've never seen a "negative" effect on any of the videos on my 5th gen iPod. When I tilt the iPod to any angle, the screen turns a hue of red or blue (only very slightly), but never a negative effect. On old lcd screens though, the negative effect is clearly visible.

i cant tell if i have it or not.

The blacks are really really contrasting to the other colors, but it could be becuase it's just a glossy screen, while the screen on my MBP is matte.
