Charging on a machine with no iTunes

I don't have the permissions to install new hardware so I can't grab iTunes. Should I still be able to charge my Touch without it? Or does my computer have USB 1.0 and I'm just an idiot? :)

Yeah, you can charge your Touch without iTunes, just has to be 1.1 or higher.
