I can´t start ipod touch

(Sorry I´m spanish and my english isn´t correct)

I can´t start ipod touch,

when I push the start button, on the screen one sees a image of the apple conector with one arrow and one cd or dvd with a simbol music. Push the buton home (Square) and the ipod don´t make nothing. Only if I support touched the sleeping button, the screen show the close screen. I do slide and the ipod close.

I connect the ipod with itunnes, and synic and register the ipod very well. And I restart ipod, because Ipod single the previous conector screen is seen.

somebody knows what it happens to me?

this broken my ipod?

i have the same problem. any solutions? Apple helpline didn't know #### on this problem (was a woman though).
