What is this white thing thats in the box

It looks like a stand, but I have no idea what it is.

Not talking about the clear plastic holder, but the white piece that looks like you can put the ipod in, but it has no balance, and it seems to have no redeeming qualities.

It's an adapter for the cradle you can buy separately.

It can also be used in other accessories that support the universal dock.

There is a stand in the box, as well. It's the little clear plastic thing.

It works pretty well once you unwrap it! :P
