8Gig Touch - Perfect screen NO hiss

Just want to report APPLE store in NJ seems to have something right.
Perfect black, no hiss, perfect sound.

Mind you i'm watching converted MPEG files like howard stern on demand videos..so the quality is horrible, but its not that bad. The black is truly black.

I have had mine for 24 hours and can't complain one bit! I am very picky when it comes to audio and video quality and I have nothing bad to say about my Touch. In fact, I have been paying extra attention to my blacks and the background noise and I don't notice it at all! This is not as bad of a product as people seem to be making it out to be, we are simply the early adopters who are willing to purchase a new product in it's initial form so there are bound to be a few defects here and there. Give it a chance if you really want the product, otherwise hold off until it has had some time to work the kinks out (hell, the Classic already has a new firmwire update!) After playing around with the Touch I am not looking forward to using my 5G or Nano anymore...

Can someone tell something about the audio quality?

ist it better then the ipod classic/video 5.5g or the ipod nano?
