I got a Touch from Best Buy today and yes it does seem to have the screen issue. From my inspection it is a cheap LCD that is causing this problem and most likely unless they are using more than one manufacturer they all will have this issue. HOWEVER it is totally subject to viewing angle and at least on mine it has to be tilted a way that I don't tilt during video watching so it does not bother me. This also might be the reason why others do not notice the problem. iLounge is right that it seem fine straight on. Some may be better than others based on the problems some are describing. I see it in mine but it is not enough of a problem for me to take it back I don't think unless I hear that newer ones use better LCD's. My advice is buy from a retailer with a 30 day return process not from Apple themselves.
Note: Apple will fight to not cancel the preorders now that they are in prepared to ship mode. Keep complaining and eventually they will do it. you need to call in and you need to speak to some sort of supervisor.
