There is a software update for the new Nano to ver 1.1 -- not sure what has changed but after a week of using mine I am 98% happy but there are still two issues, one minor one major
minor : london is shown as GMT+1 in the time function when it should be GMT -- this means all the other times are then wrong for other countries
major : using Nike+ with the new Nano -- if you have any directory structure for your music then Nike+ doesnt recognise this -- meaning you cannot play the playlist you want -- this is annoying.
Apple please fix both of these in 1.2

I wish they would fix the sluggishness in the menus. When going from a song to the main menu, my Nano always hangs on the first playlist menu for about 3 second or more.
It used to be instantaneous. 3 seconds may not sound like a lot, but it is quite annoying.
I also wish I had the option to turn off the bland time/battery white screen that comes up after a minute of inactivity. That also annoys me.

That's not normal. Have you tried restoring your nano?

yeah mine doesnt do it either not at all sluggish
I'm getting an "unknown" error (-48) when the download of 1.0.1 completes.
I've tried downloading it several times and have restarted my PB and reset the Nano.
Any suggestions?

So far the only glitch I've had was that today, while running, I paused. When I restarted my workout, the music didn't seem to be playing. I tried to select new music, thinking I'd accidentally selected no songs (I hadn't been listening other than to make sure the workout had started, as I was running with friends) and it froze. I was able to reboot and get it going again...but this was mile 17 of a 20 mile run! WAH! I lost it and didn't get to log that 17 miles on my challenges!
I will live...
But I hope this was just a fluke and not a harbinger of things to come because I bought her just for running.

Has anyone been able to get their Nano to reboot automatically after installing the new update? Mine just doesn't show up at all, and it's frustrating me, even after resetting my nano.

I know. I hate how it does that. It looks like #### and is not useful at all. When I first noticed it, I went to the options to try and turn it off.. :mad:
