iPod auto disconnects

Hi!

I'm having a strange problem with my new iPod Nano. When I connect it to my laptop it starts synching music with iTunes. The sync is finished after about 5 seconds and then the iPod displays "disconnecting" and disconnects. The iTunes however does still think that the iPod is connected and displays "dont disconnect" but it is not possible to control the iPod.

I have the same issue... maybe it's designed to auto disconnect? It's somewhat annoying though - I wonder if there is some way to turn that 'feature' off?

you can set it in iTunes for it to manually disconnect. look in the settings under the summary tab when you iPod is plugged in in iTunes.
