Do you keep your iPod in a case all the time? I usually keep mine out in the open so I can enjoy how nice it looks, and when I go running I slip it into my iSkin.
What do you all prefer?

Nude for now...no case besides the supplied Apple one. I'm thinking of getting the clear iSkin eXo2 one...I don't like any colored cases :-\ Oh btw..sick computer setup you got there.

i dont know, its hard to decide. i really like its aesthetic quality, but i also want to keep it in a case so it isnt damaged or scratched.

Yeah, I mean, I don't want mine to get scratched up or anything, so I try to keep real good care of it, but I also really like the way it looks out of the case, it looks much better.
And thanks eva, I plan on buying the new ATI RADEON 9800XT in time for Half Life 2 and Doom 3

I would love for my iPod to let its beauty all hang out but I'm paranoid about getting scratches on my baby....especially since she's new....so she stays in her iSkin

Sorry, but again, I don't see the sense in it. With the iSkin on, it makes no difference if it gets scratched. At least you enjoy the beauty when it is nude. ;)

Ebony iskin exo2, with a clear pda style screen protector directly on the screen. I dont want a single scratch.

I don't like using the case, it adds bulk and ruins how the iPod looks. If I buy a case I'll get a Vaja i-Vod 3G.

I'm mos def putting my iPod straight into a case when it finally arrives. I'm getting a white iSkin Exo2 to put it in. Mainly because my friends iPod is horribly scratched up and i dont want mine to end up like that.

If its in a case (and a silicone one like the exo2 doesnt hide it away that much) then it wont get all scratched up. So, when i take it out of the case to show people it (or when i use it at home) then it will still look beautiful and non scratched :)
But i'll take it to school mainly, and it'll be in my pocket with my keys and other scratchy objects.. my iPod must be kept safe from harm....

Maybe my aversion to having a case for the iPod stems from years of babying every other gadget I have had except for my portable audio players.
Since I started using MP3 players the lines between "techie gadget" and portable audio have been blurred. Besides my cell phone the thing that I consider to be most portable is my iPod, even more so then my Sidekick or PocketPC. And I guess I have kept the protection of my iPod in line with my previous portable audio devices.
No case, no protective covers, nothing at all between my hand and the smooth outer shell of the 'Pod.

I have the Apple Case, and getting soon the iSkin exo2, seems very nice!

I have nothing and i like that way.I might get a iskin for new years but im propaly not going to use it since i like how the ipod looks without the case and so far my ipod hasnt scratched at all. I dont want to hide it outer beauty.

That's my dilemma. I can't decide whether or not to use my iSkin. So when I'm laying around, no iSkin. Everywhere else I use it. Plus I just ordered two new iSkin exo 2's.

If you want to protect you iPod but still enjoy the beauty of it, I recommend an iSee case:

The little thing at the bottom is removable btw. I've had mine for about 7 months and have been pretty happy with it. I can see the whole iPod as if it were nude, but it stays protected.

I don't like it as much as the iSee, but it still seems to show off the iPod pretty well (check out the video).

I keep mine cased.. but if i could i would keep it naked.. cuz when it's in a case it just seems so much more bulky and thick... really makes it less attractive.

I just got an iSkin exo2 Arctic (clear frosted white) and I posted pics on my website in my iSkin exo2 Arctic Photo Gallery (http://www.wayblur.com/gallery/iskinexo2) for anyone interested in seeing one in action.
It is completely awesome and just what I expected. If you need a case or just have that lame included case, get one of these, they rock! The belt clip isn't too nice... I'm not using it, but it's an awesome case.

Nude with screen protector.
I use 1 piece PDA screen protector on front, 2 pieces on back.
Neat trick: Take a PDA screen protector, size it to cover the Ipod display. Put in on the back, centered on the Ipod & Apple logo. Rub firmly. Peel and place on front display. You now have a neat "watermark" of the Apple Logo and Ipod lettering on the LCD, doesnt impede display visibility much at all.

:D I misplaced my case for a week and was forced to use my ipod
caseless, and now i appreciate the aestetics. i'd rather it nude
even though i run the risk of scratches and other damage.
