Stupid Canada gets screwed again.

1. $150US = $158CDN, but we pay $170cdn
2. You pay max 8% tax? We pay 15.
3. Ok, so I should stop being cheap, and just shutup and buy one. Ok, but I CANT FIND ONE.

I wish Apple would ship to Canada the same day as in the U.S. Every Apple Store, Best Buy, Futureshop and Walmart within 100km of my house never got any.

I got a black iPod Nano today at Wal-Mart (Delta, BC). Although they're for sale at Best Buy, Future Shop and London Drugs for $219, the one I bought was only $199.83. Is that some sort of pricing mistake (did I get a great deal), or does Wal-Mart really sell the 8 GB Nanos for that price?

And man is this thing ever TINY!

You say you live in Canada right? Then you'd know that we actually pay 14% tax, and that at Wal-Mart the 8GB iPod Nano is currently going for $200, $20 below the cost on Apple's website. I've been to two Wal-Marts and they both had around eleven left. I don't see the currency differences that fair right now considering that the Canadian dollar is worth as much as the US one right now.

Canada currency is higher than US by 0.005 so order off the Apple site.

i just saw on the news the other day that the canadian dollar is actually equal to the US dollar now. it shouldn't be that much of a price difference. if you close to the border, you could take a roadtrip to a US apple store :)
