View Full Version : Is There Anyway To Clip a Nano to Clothing like a Shuffle?

Do they sell some sort of case that has a clip on it?

I have an 80 GB ipod video but I need something lightweight/with flash memory for running and lifting weights. I'd rather have a nano because of the screen and storage capacity, but the shuffle is more appealing because of how light it is/the clip on the back. I don't want to have to stick a nano in my pocket or use one of those stupid armbands. Does such an accessory exist?

Speck SeeThru is about the closest I found in a ten-minute browsing of iLounge's Accessories & Reviews section.

thanks for the heads up, but i'm looking for something less bulky.... no case - just a clip - like the SuperClip.

I wish XtremeMac would release the MicroShield for 3G iPod nano.

With mine for 5G, you can use just the back or just the front, if you want...

I've looked through nearly every iPod nano accessory (which aren't sorted by generation...), and all I've found is the SeeThru and a few similar cases from other companies.

I have the iSkin nano case on my 8gb 3G nano, it does not add much bulk at all to the nano. And it puts a belt clip on the back of the nano. If you wanted, you could even leave off the colored part and just use the inner rubber part with the clip on it.

Here is a link, I really like it. It also come with a neck strap that might fit your needs. it plugs into the charging port, no case needed at all and is adjustable on how long it hangs down.

Unforunately, the new MicroShield doesn't let you use just one half of the case like mine for 5G does... so it's essentially the same as the SeeThru, which we've already been told isn't good enough.

Your Welcome. I really like it. It really does not add to the size or weight much. And also includes the lanyard that does not need the case on to use. And the belt clip is removable also. Highly recommended.
