I might get silver/white too. It's kind of cool having such a miniature version of the iPod Classic. It's almost a novelty.

I didn't mind the blue so much in pictures despite it being totally not as good as the last nano's blue, but in person it's just awful

I've got to check 'em out in person (hopefully tomorrow) before I make a decision. So far the green is in the lead.

I'll have to see if the blue is as bad as you say.

Just thought I would report in.

I bought a black for myself and a green for the wife. Absolutely loving them. These new Nanos are sweet. Both colours look good. The wife wanted a Red but the Apple Store that I went to didn't have any. She is loving the green now though.

On a separate note, the interface improvements to the Nanos are nothing short of fantastic!

im in the same boat! I like the red but i feel tat almost everyone will have the red one and i want to be at least a little exclusive. The black is cool but kind of gothic. Silver is nice but boring :( Decisions decisions. I think i may end up going with red but who knows.

in my opinion the best color of the new nanos is the green one
