Wi-fi turn-off

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the wi-fi can be set so it doesn't turn on? I'm asking 'cause I would probably want to use this for travel and don't want the wi-fi to activate when the device is turned on (like on an airplane).

Personally, I think the touch is pretty cool. Not so great on storage but it will be great to web access on the touch while traveling. I won't have to bring a computer along. I usually edit what I'm bringing on a trip so the 16 GB max isn't too much of a problem.

the iPhone has an option under settings to turn the wi-fi off to save the battery life, so I would imagine that the touch would also have this feature. We probably won't know for sure until it is in stores.
