I know tweeter and a website called nextsoft or something works together to value your ipod and will give you credit towards other items. I tried it out and it said my 5th gen 30 gb ipod video was worth $118. Thats includes box, cables, and everything else. I mean my ipod is just as good as new. I even still got the protective cover on it. I would expect it would be more since it was i think over $300. Sorry for my long story but let me get to the point. Does any one know of another place i could sell it or trade it towards maybe credit for the new ipod touch? I checked ebay of course and i dont really want to deal with them. thanks

...eBay...

If you want more than what these companies will give you (and it WON'T be much), you're going to have to put some work into it.

A 5th gen 30GB iPod cost either $299 or $249, depending on when you bought it. Considering someone can go out to a store right now and buy an 80GB iPod brand new for less than you claim you originally spent on your 30GB, it might be a bit tough selling it.
