View Full Version : Any idea of the batter life of the ipod touch? can i use AIM or Meebo?

i might get it, but im worried about battery life, and would i be able to go on AIM with it or use meebo

Battery life will not be as good as the iPod classic, but it will probably be superior to the iPhone. They're promising 22 hours of audio, and 5 hours of video, although real-world conditions will probably be around 80% of that.

As for AIM and/or Meebo, you should be able to do anything with the iPod touch that you could do with the iPhone browser, since they're the same basic browser.

Doesn't the iPhone offer 24 hours battery time?

I wonder how quickly the battery will be drained if you listen to music while surfing.

i dont know much of the iphone, so thats why im asking before im going to buy it, for battery life, i meant how long before i have to charge it again? like 3 days without charge?

as states above and on teh ipodtouch web site

" Up to 22 hours of music playback; up to 5 hours of video playback "

so after 22 hours of music, regardless if its spread out over a day or 2,, it will be dead.

after 5 hours,,, it will be dead


as far as battery Lifetime, im guessing same as iPhone
