Streaming whole iTunes library over Wi-Fi...

... since it can stream from the web (iTunes Store, YouTube), don't you think they can't implement streaming our iTunes library from our computer to the iPod touch?...

That way, at least at home, I could enjoy all my library, go on the web, etc... And when I go out, I would only keep a selection out of my library on the flash drive of the iPod..

That way, we would get the best of both worlds, at least while we wait for bigger capacity flash drives or a HDD iPod touch..

For myself, if they did that, I would not hesitate to buy the touch iPod.. But as of now, I'll keep my 60gb 5G....

Yep, this doesnt seem to bad!.. But it would be much betetr if it would be embedded in the iPod OS, so it would be transparent to you when you use it...

The iPod would be registered to a library, and as soon as it can connect to the library through Wi-Fi, it would automatically show all the albums when you browse... When you are not wihtin reach of the the network, you would only see the "local" albums when you browse...

Now, that would be neat!

If so, I would definitely buy an iPod touch and be able to stream everything!

Here's some instructions for streaming a Mac-based iTunes library to the iPhone (http://embraceware.com/blog/2007/09/21/out-of-the-box-itunes-streaming-to-your-iphone/)....don't see why it wouldn't work for a Touch as well.
