What do you define as cheap?

In the $10-15 range, look at www.maclear.biz.

In the $50+ range, look at www.vajacases.com.

Each case has it's advantages and disadvantages. Spend a few days reading these forums and the iPodlounge Reviews, and I'm sure you'll find one that suits you.

If you're talking about the case that's included from Apple in the 20 and 40GB iPods, then YES--- Waste of money. :)

I've ordered from Lajo's site in the past (3 exos in fact) and had no troubles. Customer service and email response is excellent.

I'd recommend Lajo's site www.lajo.biz and a similar site with some same and some different iSkin cases at www.iskin.com (they have the new iSkin exo 2's, not to be confused with Lajo's exo 2's). Check 'em both out. I'd recommend both.

The nicest looking case to me is the Vaja i-Vod, if I ever bother getting a case it'll be an i-Vod for sure.

I think the iSkin's look a little tacky in real life to be honest.
