hey all,
i've had a 2nd gen ipod since october...first using it on windows and on my powerbook since late march. it worked fine....had some battery problems that 1.2.6 fixed beautifully, until i switched to the mac, somewhat ironically. now my battery life has been declining, but it wasn't too big a deal until yesterday...i fully charged my ipod, and used it for about 2 hours that day. when i picked it up this morning, it was dead. definitly not good performance...
so i was wondering if anyone had any experience with sending the pod back...should i call apple care? i was not sure about how to go about getting a return. i never registered any warrenty info, as i don't think any came with it. i still have the receipt though. if anyone has done this, please let me know what the proper procedure is. thanks a lot!
