I'm trying to decide if signing up for the $8.99 earlier nights is worth it. This gives you nights starting at 7pm rather than 9pm and also it goes until 7am rather than 6am I believe.

Do you think this is worth it?

It all depends on how much you talk.

I talk on my phone very seldomly, unless it's to call relatives not on cingular (mom and pop) or to talk to customer service (bank, cingular, lending people, etc), which kills about 300 of my anytime minutes per month.

Also to consider is the moble-to-mobile and rollover. Almost everyone out here in Central California has Cingular, so talking to my friends doesn't take away from anytime minutes. On all plans, unused anytime minutes roll over (while night/weekend do not).

I'd say hold off and see how your usage goes. Dialing *MIN (*646) will let you check your balance at your discretion so there's no excuse for going over your minutes. If need be, I am pretty sure that you can change your plan at any time later on to add new features.

I hope that helps, man.

I have had the early nights and weekends option on my plan for about one month now. I have to say that I don't really make a "point" to use my phone during these times but very often I look at the clock and its 5 minutes to 7 and I feel relieved that I don't have to worry about using my valuable daytime minutes.

The main reason I got this option is that unfortunately for me, my girlfriend, parents, brother, and roomate all have verizon so I use virtually zero mobile to mobile minutes. I am debating taking this feature off however, since $8.99 seems to be a bit much just to use the minutes your already paying for. My bill with just this option enabled comes out to about $75 a month - too much for a cell phone bill in my opinion.

I once had 1,500 rollover minutes. Got rid of my service and they all went bye bye.

LOL, you have to admit this is a really silly question. How should we know how much you call between 7PM and 9PM??
