iPhone living up to the hype?

I am Canadian they do not sell the iPhone here and may never sell it our one GSM carrier likes to gouge it's customers with insane data rates.

Few questions and I doubt on a iPod forum I will get an unbiased answer but here goes....

Is iPod sales living up to the hype is everybody abandoning thier old carriers and phones and buying the iPhone? Do you see them all over the place in the States?

My rich friend has one, but he is the only person I've seen so far with one in real life. I believe that the sales are good, though.

As for living up to the hype, I don't think we'll be able to really tell until another month or so...just what I think.

I have to say, I seen more people with it than I had expected. BUT to me, it's too big. It's clearly the size of a PDA than a cellphone. Not trying to make anybody feel bad about your purchase now, don't get defensive on me, just a personal opinion. Holding for iPhone Jr.

Gouging carrier? You maybe surprised as Apple gets into the act.
