Just got my 3G 40G for christmas from the wife - I've been lurking for a while here to get the lowdown on my first accessory purchases and the iSkin exo2 seems like the best case for me. I know they are infamous for lint pick-ups but I've heard about the dryer sheet mod as well as some (if I remember correctly) that used light soap and water on the cover itselft to clean it once a month or so.
Will post pics when I get it. :D
On a seperate note, I lost my first of the #%#$% standard apple-issue sync port covers. It's a good thing the exo2 has an integrated one. Since I also have a few minor scratches it looks like I'll be ordering the iCleaning kit too. :(

What color did you get? Do you find the belt clip as ineffective as others? How about lint attraction?
I got an Arctic a few days ago and it's only been out of the house once so far, attracts lint like moths to a lightbulb......better than scratches on the ipod I suppose....
Only dissapointing part was I didn't get a travel bag, it came in a plastic case, but no sign of the free travel bag - it was ordered through Amazon UK.

Cheers - would you have gotten a different color or were your sights set on Artic?
<-- should have had the wife order the exo2 at the same time as the iPod. :D
It was a present from the g/f, so she chose, I would have probably gone for Arctic anyway, since although the Sonic looks good, attracts too much attention and since I'll be leaving it unattended on my desk at work sometimes, don't really want to draw too much attention to it, Sonic might as well say "Hey, steal me please".
Just noticed, if you got it for xmas - how did you get scratches already?!?!?

It's been well-used already. :D Got about 6 hours out of one play session when I took it to the bookstore the other day, then made the mistake of putting it in my pocket. :( In hindsight even the crappy apple case would have protected it but oh well - they're very small almost imperceptable scratches (the wife says I'm just imagining them).

My caron iSKin exo2 arrived this morning.. it's great. I don't use the belt clip and i cant really see why so many people do. It's as lame as having your mobile on a belt clip! Anyways, its a lint magnet.
WORD OF WARNING: Take you ipod out when its in disk mode..some people have had the metal back of theri ipod pop off through heat build-up!!
Really enjoying it thought.

I just got an iSkin exo2 Arctic (clear frosted white) and I posted pics on my website in my iSkin exo2 Arctic Photo Gallery (http://www.wayblur.com/gallery/iskinexo2) for anyone interested in seeing one in action.
It is completely awesome and just what I expected. If you need a case or just have that lame included case, get one of these, they rock! The belt clip isn't too nice... I'm not using it, but it's an awesome case.

you guys say that you dont use the belt clip. so do you put it into your pocket? isnt it hard to pull it in and out because of the silicone material? and doesnt it pick up all of the lint and stuff in your pocket?

Buy what? Dryer sheets? If so, try your local supermarket.
