I believe they are stuck on to the iPod - could be messy if you want to remove them...

I both two of them and would NOT recommend them. The reason being is that it is impossible to do a clean installation without having bubbles (too visible). Also, aligning the holes would be a huge undertaking (not a perfect alignment).

Since it is made out of adhesives, particles (i.e. dust/dirt)would stick to the edges making it look dirty and cheap. The edges would loose their adhesives and would flair out again making your $400+ ipod cheap looking.

Now for the positives, if you want scratch protection and not concerned about looks, buy it. But if you like quality, value for your money and aesthetics... PLEASE DON'T!

Can anybody back me up on this?

well this thing is worse than a scrached iPod because...if taken off it will leave a goowie mess on your iPod. Also as stated above, I could see the sides geting dirty like a old sticker and flareing up...I wouldnt do anything like this to my iPod EVER.

If you want a case like a BodyMask clear (YUK!), get the iPodWrap instead. It doesn't STICK onto the iPod in any way, but provides a similar protection level and look.

#### guys. I though that no one would respond to my post!!!
After a while of not seeing any replies, I went ahead and ordered it. I ordered the clear one with the corners protectors. I do appreciate your comments though because now I know the cons and pros of this product. Also it is my fault for not reading the text fully. I failed to read that the "iPod BodyMask Clear is a transparent sticker.." Keyword: Sticker which is mean glue is involved! I would hate to see my iPod to get full of that stuff.

Let explain what I was planning to do once I get this clear mask. I have one of the Incases cases. What I was planning to do is to put the mask on the iPod, and once the mask were on the iPod I would put it inside the cases itself. The reason why I want do this is because I usually connect it to the dock (which is connected to my stereo system) and listen to it thought my home theater speaker system.
And you know that if you keep on sliding the iPod in and out, it will get scratch, eventhough the case would be lined with silk inside.
I will take your comments in to consideration. Too bad I cannot return or cancel my order. It's been processed already.

That product looks like crap to me. I wouldn't even put the clear film on my iPod. But you know, to each his own.

Well, I might have an idea of how to still use the mask and not the iPod all sticky. It might look crappy, but I will give it a try.
What I will do is wrap my iPod with a very thin plastic my wife uses to seal containers that have food, then I will apply the mask. I dont really care how it look, I just want my iPod to be protected.
I will post pictures of how it looks.

I think less than 24 hours to respond is VERY GOOD!

roborat,
I think you're right. I guess I just got impatient. I thought I had posted the original message days before.

By the way, we all get an iPod body mask when we buy it. Have you guys thought about the origanl plastic wrap the iPod comes with.
All we need to do is cut wholes in appropiate sides and we have a free iPod wrap.

Haha yes. I've heard that the Don't Steal Music text comes off with a bit of rubbing alcohol, too.

I'm thinking about buying the body wrap to make a sticker for the scroll wheel. It'll be a record (as in a vinyl album). Do you think that'll line up well? I don't plan to use the rest of the kit.
