Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that it is a bit harder to get the buttons to activate with the iskin exo2 on? I sometimes have to tap the buttons a couple of times to get them to register. I hope it's not a problem with my ipod as I just got it a couple of weeks ago. Maybe it's my big hands, not fat, just big:)
Anyway, just like to hear if anyone else has the same problem. I love the case still:)
Thanks!

Take the case off, do the buttons work normally then? If yes, then it's the case. Is the eXo2 the one which covers the touchpad?
Maybe you're just not pressing the button properly sometimes, press them right in the very middle.
Fusion: Lajo's eXo 2 covers the buttons, iSkin's eXo 2 doesn't.

Oh, confusing stuff! Well I'm guessing he must have the Lajo eXo2 that covers the buttons?
How can you tell the difference between the Lajo and the eXo2? I didn't know Lajo have made an eXo2 now aswell...

Small correction Lajo released his exo2 before iSkin and there is a Lajo exo3 coming out Jan

Hi,
Thanks for replying to my post.
I have the Iskin exo2 which does not have the silicone over the buttons. I have taken it off and I guess it works fine. I did notice that you have to sometimes touch right in the middle of the button. I did do that a couple of times with no response though (case on).
Is it possible that the hard drive just has a slow response if you try and move through the menus fast? Is it also possible that the response time of the buttons is slow when the battery life is low?
I went to an apple store today and talked to one of the geniuses (if you can really call them that) and he said I should leave it with them for a week to test out. He said if there was a problem then they would give me a "replacement" model i.e. a refurbished pos! I would definitely want a new one since it's only a few weeks old.
I guess I'll keep testing with the case on and off to see if it works properly. I tested my friend's 3G 20 Gb and his buttons seem to be sensitive all over and not just in the middle like mine. I got my 3G 40 Gb a month after him, would apple have changed this in this short of time? I noticed that he got older firmware with his than mine.
Thanks Again!

Hmmm that's odd cuz i have the iskin exo2 and that's never happened.. i think it just may be that your ipod is warming up so it doesn't respond. if you leave your ipod to idle while listening to music for a while it kinda stops the button's sensitivity to save power and so when you press a button again the hard drive has to warm up (sometimes you can hear/feel it warm up) and then the buttons should work fine. i haven't had any problems with button sensitivity with my case
