I recently purchased a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and would like to use my Ipod without having to use an FM transmitter. The vehicle has a stock single CD player (with CD/Aux button) and RSE DVD( Rear Seat entertainment) unit .NO XM radio The RSE has three plugs available. I am guessing to be used for headphones for the DVD (just a guess) though the car came with wireless headphones. I am also able to tune the stereo to AUX and listen to DVDs over the speaker system.

My question is, is there anythng I can connect to these plugs in the DVD unit that would allow me to use the Ipod though the speakers? Also, is there any other solution that someone kow about. I don't mind if the solution is not hard-wired into the car but just can't take using the FM transmitter anymore.

If u can listen to a portable DVD then u can plug the iPod in the same spot. Just buy the round cable that plugs into the round hole. :)

My DVD is not portable but part of the RSE, stock on the vehicle. The plugs are to the rear of the DVD unit.
