Does the Iphone have any type of Parental Control? Internet Browsing controls, blocking certain websites and images. thanks

Sure, for a parent, the lack of parental controls may be a big deal. However, have there been any previous cell phones with parental control in mind? (Aside from the single-button "firefly" types"?)

The closes thing I can think of is enabling Passcode Lock so your kid can't mess with your iPhone.

And if it's their iPhone: wow.... what a lucky kid.

I wouldn't think the iPhone was designed with blocking it's features in mind. If you need a parental controlled iPhone I would also think your not old enough to have/be trusted with one.

I was today at Apple's iPhone 2.0 presentation and heard Apple's vice president of iPhone software, Scott Forstall, to say that the software update will include some parental control. I'll digg the video and will post it on my blog: uberpulse.com (http://uberpulse.com).

Well mostly i had seen people using parental control at their pc or laptop, but not had seen any one using it for iPhone, so sorry i don' have any idea about it. But i would like to know if it would be possible then how can?

This is an old thread, and the iPhone currently has pretty robust parental controls.

SETTINGS > GENERAL > RESTRICTIONS.
