When I play the 1st song on the Dock its always louder!

Ok I just noticed when I play the first song on the dock its super loud then when the next song comes on its quite and I have to turn the radio up.

I had the same problem. Go into Settings, iPod, and turn Sound Check and Volume limit OFF.

also iPhone's dock boosts the base a little.
