anyone know if intl data charges on iphone will be resonable.? useing push email? internet? sms?

1. Currently u CANNOT use phone outside U.S.
2. Getting email from U.S. versus China cost u exactly the same.
3. U make voice call international, well, same rate as any phone by AT&T.

i am taking about using the iphone while on trips in other countries. rates for recieving emails etc. it is not the same.

Wrong. You can roam world wide with iPhone, you just can't buy and activate one on any other system than ATT.

Also wrong. ATT will charge for data when you use iPhone outside of the US, even when you have an unlimited data plan. That's how their (and practically every cell carrier) roaming works.

True in so far as international roaming rates will apply outside of the US.

It would be the same price per kb that you would pay on any other dataplan AT&T offers, some where around the price of your leg and your arm.

That's the truth! I just spend three weeks in Europe with my Blackberry and I paid close to $100 in charges for spam emails alone.
