Game not available in US store!

With latest iTunes installed and being located in the USA, tried to purchase Zuma and Sudoko games. They show up in my Shopping Cart. Under the Price Column they have no pricing but in its' place a clickable box called "View". When I click on "View" box, I get the message "the item you requested is not currently available in the US store".

Then, when I try to delete these from my Shopping Cart by clicking the circled X under the Price column, I get the message "Could not remove the item from your cart. An unknown error occurred (1011)." "There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later".

This has been happening for two days. Anyone else see this or know the cause? I find it hard to believe they'd advertise these games in the USA store, then not allow download. Stranger indeed they cannot be deleted from the Shopping Cart. I do have iTunes set for the USA and have no problem purchasing and downloading music.

Just a follow-up for anyone experiencing a similar problem. I had to contact Apple Support via email and explain the problem. Within 24 hours they cleared my Shopping Cart from their end and it's now empty.

I think the glitch was on the iTunes Store end of the pipe and not on my computer.

I just had the same problem occur, so I have sent an email to Apple. Pain in the rear. This is the second time I have had stuff mysteriously appear in my shopping cart, though.

I wrote to iTunes Support--they needed to clear out my cart. It took about 8 hours for a response. Here's what they said:

I understand you have been unable to make any purchases through your shopping cart since adding two iPod games the cart.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. You should now be able to sign in to the iTunes Store and access your shopping cart.

Please note that it was necessary to clear the contents of your shopping cart to resolve the issue you have been experiencing. Due to your cart's inaccessibility, I am unable to provide a list of its contents.

To purchase these games, you will need to temporarily switch to 1-click shopping, make the purchases, and then you can return your preferences to using the shopping cart.

I had the same problem when trying to purchase the Sims Bowling game. I received the same not available in the U.S. message and it wouldn't delete from my cart either. So I purchased the cart with the game still in it and it did show up in the download section but the game disappeared after the other items finished downloading. I had to contact iTunes customer support after I purchased my shopping cart and the game didn't download. They resolved the problem from their end so that the game would download.
